February Meeting  Wednesday, February 1st, 2017, 7:00 PM

At our February meeting we will be judging the annual Wisconsin PSA Club Showcase.  Fifteen camera clubs from across Wisconsin have submitted images to the Showcase this year, so you will a lot of great images.  All participating clubs are now in the process of judging the images with final results being available in May.  Our club has done well over the years, most often ranking in the top five.  Please bring a pen, something hard to write on and a small flashlight to help you see your scoring sheet.

Following the judging we use some of the images to start a discussion on what makes a good image.  We will also have some time to critique member images.

Member Image Sharing:

Members are encouraged to submit several (up to five) images to share with the club for gentle critique.  This is a great way to get suggestions for improving your images and developing your photographic skills. In order to give everyone a chance to share their images during the year, we will select several individuals who will be featured at each meeting.  Other individuals may also provide images which will be shared as time permits.

The following members will be featured this month: Terry Hughes, Susan Jensen, Karren Jeske, Michael Jeske, Craig Kasseckert, Richard Knisbeck

Please email your images to Rick Vollbrecht (Rvollb@wi.rr.com) by Tuesday, February 3rd. This will help to streamline the process of viewing member images. We look forward to seeing your images.
