January Meeting Agenda: Your Chance to Judge

January Newsletter

January Meeting  Wednesday, January 3rd, 2018, 7:00 PM

Program  PSA Wisconsin Club Showcase Judging:

This month we will be judging the PSA Wisconsin Club Showcase.  In this annual Showcase, fifteen Wisconsin camera clubs have each submitted seven member images to compete for bragging rights in Wisconsin.  Our club has consistently been in the top five, last year finishing 3rd.  Please bring a pen or pencil for scoring.  You may also want to bring a small flashlight to help you see the ballot.  Following the judging, we will use some of the competition images to discuss what makes a good image.  Look forward to seeing some great images from Wisconsin photographers.

Member Image Sharing:

Members are encouraged to submit several (up to five) images to share with the club for gentle critique.  This is a great way to get suggestions for improving your images and developing your photographic skills. In order to give everyone a chance to share their images during the year, we will select several individuals who will be featured at each meeting.  Other individuals may also provide images which will be shared as time permits.

The following members will be featured this month: Jim Hobbick, Kurt Huebner, Terry Hughes, Susan Jensen, Karren Jeske, Michael Jeske.

Please email your images to Tom Wright ( TomWrightwi@gmail.com ) by Tuesday, January 2nd. This will help to streamline the process of viewing member images. We look forward to seeing your images.
